EXHIBITION REGULATIONS

- Entries in Division 1 are by invitation of New Zealand 2005 only.
- Entries in the Competitive Classes may be made by any person within New Zealand or overseas belonging to a Philatelic Society or Stamp Club affiliated to the New Zealand Philatelic Federation, the Australian Philatelic Federation or the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada.
- In accordance with New Zealand Regulations, the minimum size of any entry in divisions 2 - 5 (excluding division 2.6) shall be 3 (three) frames (48 pages) with a maximum of 8 (eight) frames (128 pages).
- Each entry in Division 2.6 (New Zealand Literature) shall be one copy of the published or unpublished book, handbook or manuscript

All entries shall be published no earlier than January 2002
All entries in Division 2.6 must be provided to the organisers no later than 31st August, 2005.
All entries in Division 2.6 will be retained by the organisers.
- In Division 6 (Youth) the frame allocations shall be as shown above.
- In Division 7 (National One Frame) the entries shall be 1 (one) frame (16 pages).
- The entry fee will be NZ$25.00 per frame for all classes except that for Division 2.6 the entry fee shall be NZ$25.00 and that Youth entries (Division 6) shall be free.
- Each frame consists of four rows of four pages per row and allows for pages sizes not exceeding 290mm in height and 250mm in width. Double width size pages are acceptable. Exhibits with larger pages may be disadvantaged and the exhibit may only be partially displayed in the frames.
- All exhibits should be on white or light coloured pages and must be fully contained in clear, close fitting exhibition protectors. Entries not conforming to this regulation will be returned without being judged or displayed.
- Each page shall show the exhibitor's name and address on the reverse and each page shall be numbered, on the reverse in the bottom right corner, sequentially in the order that they are to be displayed.
- Certificates of authenticity should be supplied, if available, and should be attached to the reverse of the relevant page.
- An exhibitor may not submit more than one entry in any class unless the second or subsequent entry is substantially different in content and is not the continuation of another entry.
- An exhibitor may enter using a pseudonym, provided that his or her true name and identity are known to the Organising Committee and the Jury. Entries entered under an incorrect name will be disqualified.
- Entries shall not carry any indication as to price or value of any item or items contained therein.
- Neither members of the Jury and their families nor Apprentice Judges and their families may enter this exhibition.

NO LATER THAN 30th JUNE, 2005.
- The Exhibition Committee reserves the right to limit the number of entries and the number of frames allocated to an entry for this exhibition. The right is also reserved to reject any entry without assigning any reason for such a decision.
- Exhibitors will be advised by 31st July, 2005 that their entry has been accepted, reduced in frame size or rejected in accordance with Rule 14. As there is probably sufficient space for frames at the venue it is unlikely that any entries will be rejected or reduced in size. On notification of acceptance the exhibitor must supply a photocopy of the Title Page, or a one page synopsis of the accepted entry, before 31st August, 2005.
- Once an exhibitor has submitted a final entry form and has been notified of acceptance the exhibitor is obligated to provide the agreed entry. Failure to produce the entry renders the exhibitor liable (at the discretion of the New Zealand Philatelic Federation) to disqualification from future National and International exhibitions for a period of up to 5 years.
- Competitive entries must be in the hands of a commissioner or the Exhibition Committee by Thursday 10th November, 2005. Exhibits may be couriered to New Zealand 2005 at an address to be advised when acceptances are notified. Hand delivered exhibits as well as exhibits being carried by Commissioners must be received by the Bin Room Manager at the exhibition venue before 10 am on Wednesday 16th November, 2005.
- All reasonable care will be taken by the Exhibition Committee and its representatives to protect the property of exhibitors, but the safety and insurance of an exhibitor's property, whether within the exhibition or otherwise, is solely the responsibility of the exhibitor. The North Shore Philatelic Society Inc., its Exhibition Committee and its representatives shall be fully indemnified against any claim which may be made in respect of, or arising from, any loss or damage to an exhibit.
- The Exhibition Committee and/or Jury reserve the right to transfer any entry to another Division or Class if, in their opinion, it is incorrectly placed, or where it may receive an equivalent or higher award.
- Judging will be carried out on the material as presented in the frames. The F.I.P. International Standard Exhibition Judging Sheets will be used to evaluate each exhibit. A copy of the completed judging sheet will be supplied to the entrant.
- The Jury will make one of the following awards, according to the approved scale, after the evaluation of an exhibit. LARGE GOLD, GOLD, LARGE VERMEIL, VERMEIL, LARGE SILVER, SILVER, SILVER BRONZE, BRONZE. In addition there will be a Grand Award, a runner-up to the Grand Award, plus other special prizes awarded at the discretion of the Chairman of the jury after consultation with the Jurors.
IN ALL CASES THE JURY'S DECISION WILL BE FINAL AND NO DISCUSSION OR CORRESPONDENCE WILL BE ENTERED INTO.
- All exhibits will be returned as soon as is practicable after the Exhibition has closed. Entries may be uplifted by exhibitors, or their duly authorised agent notified in writing, between 6.00 pm and 7.00 pm on Sunday 20th November, 2005 at the Exhibition venue.
- The Exhibition Committee may, from time to time, provide rules to cover any other matter that may be required and its decision is final on all matters.
- The exhibitor's signature on the NEW ZEALAND 2005 approved entry form indicates acceptance of all rules laid down by the Exhibition Committee.
